Today, I bought some Ponkan. I think Ponkan has a better smell than Mikan so it’s very nice to have one in your room. Wait a minute, I just wondered how to say Ponkan in English? Japanese Orange? or just Ponkan ?

I stayed at a stylish hotel reflecting the sophistication and complex cityscapes of Tokyo, which was designed by Piero Lissoni, a renown Italian designer, who used to work as a industrial designer .for Cassina and Alessi. The room had a very nice view and interior.

A Friend of mine sent me a picture of her kids, Miya & Taiyo.
They are biracial children: American and Japanese.
Come to think of it, they look American in one way and Japanese in another way.

★I feel that biracial kids look prettier than single race kids. Well, all kids are cute anyways.

Fujiya is embroiled in a scandal over using ingredients whose use-by date had expired in confectionery products.I didn’t understand the catch phrase “Milky tastes like mom” when I was a kid. Now I guess it means “Taste like homemade .” But mom would never use expired ingredients for kids sweets. Hey come on, Fujiya!

★Oh my god! I love Milky! Actually, I had forgotten about the candy; but as Fujiya’s name has been widely broadcast lately, I’d love to eat it .

I found a small pretty rainbow at Heiwa park fountain.
I haven’t seen a rainbow in… I don’t know how long.
It almost reminds me very much of my childhood.

This dish is called Turkish rice in Kyushu. It is said that the fried rice means China,
the pasta is Italy and the cutlet, sitting right in the middle, means Turkey.If you add a toy flag, it is just like a lunch special for kids, isn’t it?

Kewpies are on the march at Ginza Chanel, right across the street from Matuya. Those Kewpie-like dolls are in black Channel suits with black sunglasses. If you go to Ginza, you should visit the shop and see them! You’ll be madly in love with them!

I’m not sure how many dolls are there. It’s worth it to see them!

These flowers are made from felt with beads, spangles and embroidery thread.
It will make a good room ornament during the winter season.
I wish I were good at sewing…then I could have made it by myself.

I believe that Fukuoka Airport has one of the nicest views for landing at night.　
The airport is in the city area so that when you land, you feel like you are falling right into the middle of the city. Take a look at the twinkling night view!

新年の抱負　 　new year's resolution

What’s your new year’s resolution? I will wake up early (if possible…) and I’ll give birth to three!　It means I’d like to publish at least two books this year! I’m not sure if it’s possible but this is my new year’s resolution. It’s better to take a big bite.
