Sashimi was served in a white bowl, and you know what? The bowl was made of ice! With the icy bowl, you can enjoy Sashimi’s firmness till the last piece.
I wanna have the bowl in my home. I know it’s impossible to reuse it though!

One of my favorite bakery is BIGOT. Especially, I love the Pear Danish, which has decently simmered pear and sweet custard cream. Orange is also delicious with a little bit of a bitter taste. Bigot-san is the person who first introduced French bread to Japan.

I found a white flower on the sidewalk. It’s still February, but it shows us that spring is already around the corner. I also should have enjoyed the scent, but I was in a hurry. When I find a flower next time, I will stop to smell that flower, I promise!

When you are walking on the street, you’ll find many building boards with pictures taken by famous photographers. When lighted up, those boards look like art sometimes. Of course, some are junk, however, the light boosts the image value.

What do you wanna eat from this dish? The edge is surrounded by illustrations in which a guy is wearing a clown’s nose and hair wig. It is on the edge of cool and wack. If I have this dish, I will eat Japanese style curry…I don’t know why but I just feel like it.

The picture looks like a Piet Mondrian painting. This is, however, a desk. You can feel the wood texture and enjoy the color. The color is not too flamboyant so it will blend into your apartment. I’d love to have one.

I was in Tohoku today.
It was snowing on and off and the snow lied slightly on the ground.
It was too warm in this winter, then it's nice to have snow to feel the season.

Is this a Japanese sweet or a French one?　 Chocola Yatsuhashi is made of rice cake, filled with chocolate, and powdered with cinnamon. The taste is very distinctive. I love it, though the taste will depend on the person.

In this season, you can find many heart-shaped things everywhere, because of Valentine’s Day. There is a custom in Western countries of sending a card, flowers and sweets to your lover. The custom of sending chocolate from a woman to a man was started in Japan.

You have many chances to see the sunset in your daily life, but you tend to miss it in the busyness of life. I like the moment when the sky becomes dark blue right after the sun goes down.I need more relaxed time so I can feel those calm moments in a day.

I found a rice cracker, which is named “Koisuru Senbei”. This is just for Valentine’s Day shopping and sold by a sweets shop. It sounds strange but also cute in a way. If you have a male friend who doesn’t like sweets, this would be a great Valentine’s gift.

I often go to a plant shop just to look around. A cactus is especially easy to take care of. They need sunlight; but watering only once in a while. If you are a lazy person, I strongly recommend having a cactus rather than other plants.

When I was away from Japan for a month, my cactus survived with the light coming through the window and it even had a flower! It’s true!

It looks like a heart, but the red, heartshaped thing is a chair, designed by Vitra. The other colorful strange shapes are also chairs designed by Panton. These chairs seem very unbalanced, but actually they are very wellbalanced. Just try sitting on it.

I eat dried fruit, such as prunes, dried raisins and so on every day.
Especially I love eating dried figs with cheese and honey.
These dried fruit contain much iron and minerals so they are good for your health!

★Dried fruits are also high in calories. If you eat too much you’ll easily put on weight.

肌をなめらかにする soothe one’s skin

My skin gets dry in this season. I bought Avene water to soothe my irritated skin.
The can says this is also good for razor burn and diaper rash. This water comes from French spas and has the same effect as hot springs water in Japan.



★I also have dry eyes. I should consciously close my eyes once in a while.
