Water with bubbles

Expression

I love drinking carbonated water with lemon, lime and other citrus fruit.
Somebody told me it is also good for your cold constitution and gives you good circulation. I enjoy the feeling when it goes through my throat like beer anyways.

窓の向こうに見えるのは?

What do you see through the window?

Expression
―に気づく take notice of ―

I was just concerned about the ornament on the window at first. Then I took notice of the view through the window. There are only buildings outside of the window; however, with the ornament, it seems like a piece of artwork a frame. Your slant might be important to enjoy your life.

I had a hot chocolate at the AMEDEI’s café. AMEDEI got the best award at the World Chocolate Festival. The taste was good, but I expected too much so I wasn’t impressed that much. It’s like watching a movie that has a really good reputation. You should not expect too much, so you can accept the thing as it is!

ロスト・イン・トランスレーション - 翻訳で失われるもの

Lost in translation

Expression
都会の孤独 isolation in the metropolitan city

In order to write an essay, I watched one of my favorite films “Lost in Translation”. This film is great for the screen image and the script which shows the people’s isolation in the metropolitan city. Besides, it depicts lost things: not only the differences between language and culture, but also men and women, older and younger… in communication.

It's an old time Telephone booth!

Expression

I found Telephone booths in the Hibiya area. Those boxes seem retro and actually are really old. The Telephone has jacks for an ISDN telephone line. The cell phone, we are using now, will be old in the near future. What’s to come next after the cell phone?
