Strolling around a park, Youka and I found acorns. I haven’t seen acorns for a while, have I? Oh no, I haven’t cared about those small things these days.
Picking up acorns, I felt the smell of wet soil and dead leaves. It’s the smell of autumn!

This is the signature of a towel shop “Kamawanu.”It means “I don’t care” as you can tell from those Iillustrated things; a sickle, a circle and the Japanese character “nu”. People enjoyed this kind of calligraphy painting on Kimono in the Edo period. It’s a fun, isn't it?

Giuseppe Cocco’s pasta is one of the pope’s favorites. I bought the short pasta, Farfalle, which means butterfly. The shape is like a ribbon or butterfly. The texture is glutinous and has body. This is one of the noblest pastas in the world (lol).

Enoteca Norio is an Italian wine restaurant, using a renovated old house. The place reminds me of Scenes From an Italian Restaurant by Billy Joel. They serve great pasta and other meals. What I like the most was…Frozen ginger crème br^ul`ee. You feel the rich ginger taste but it become very tender with a vanilla scent. I wish I were here just for lunch not for a meeting.

There was a white line in the sky in the late afternoon.” Wow, it’s a shooting star,” I thought. Actually it’s a contrail. Contrail is a line of frozen emissions of the airplane. The sky is very clear in this season. It’s getting colder and you can enjoy clearer contrail.

I met Hiromi, who is taking child-care leave, at café Sasha. We talked about our kids, jobs and this and that…we enjoyed discursive conversation. I enjoyed tomato flavored tofu jello with powdered green tea in the nice café atmosphere. Sometime women need this kind of talk-talk time. Don’t you think so?
