～漬けの pickled ／ 国内（産）の domestic
I had Gyutan specialties at Dateno Gyutan Restaurant at Sendai station.
牛タン定食を、仙台駅の伊達の牛タンにて。
I had salt and miso flavored mixed Gyutan which was served with tail soup, pickled lettuce and miso hot pepper.
塩味と味噌味の牛タンが、テールスープ、レタスの漬物、みそ漬け唐辛子と一緒に出されます。
Actually, when the BSE issue occurred, the restaurant announced “We proudly use Australian beef but not domestic.”…so it means their beef is totally safe even under the circumstances.
実は、ＢＳＥの問題が起こったときに、このお店は「当店は国産ではなく、オーストラリア産ビーフを使用しています」と発表。この状況下でもビーフになんら問題はないわけですね。
I wonder, however, if it’s a nice thing to know or not…
でも（えっ、仙台産じゃないの!?） オーストラリア産とは、知ってよかったような、残念なような……。
でもね、仙台の牛タンはとってもおいしいです。通販もあるようです。みそ味、塩味、ぜひご賞味を。
