I just like the package

真空パック　vacuum pack

Walking in the Tokyo Station, I found pretty boxes that seem like real cheese packages. It’s very easy to carry around and good for a gift. You can enjoy the cake for a few days before you open the vacuum pack. I didn’t expect it to taste very nice; the taste, however, was really good! Bon appetit!

★Forma, Yesu Ekinaka, sells many different kinds of cheese cakes. The expiration date will be a few days after you open the vacuum pack. I believe they don’t extend the best-before date, do they?

【日本語訳】
東京駅を歩いていて、まるでチーズのパッケージみたいなかわいいチーズケーキの箱を発見。持ち運びに便利だし、ちょっといいおみやげです。真空パックをあける前なら、２，３日は持つようです。味はあまり期待していなかったけれど…、でも、けっこうイケル！どうぞ召し上がれ。

★八重洲駅中の「フォルマ」は、いろんなチーズケーキを売っています。一個１５００円前後。真空パックをあけて２，３日が賞味期限らしいです。このお店は、賞味期限の改ざんなんかしない、って信じてます＾＾。

やっちゃいます。ジャケ買い、パケ買い、装丁買い。
本当のところはともかく、その外見から中身もすごくよく見えます。
一見していいなと思って、内容はダメもと。
で、おいしかったり、よかったりすると、
すごく得した気分になります。

　見かけだけで中身を判断しちゃいけません
　＝人は見かけによらぬもの、とも。

でも、魅力のあるカバーって、ときに大切……
と、仕事柄まさに肝に銘じています。

～ing, S+V 言わずと知れた構文ですね。Sが～ingの主語となります。
gift　おみやげ。souvenir よりも、gift やpresentのほうが手土産感覚がでます。
vacuum pack　真空パック。ちなみに掃除機はvacuum cleanerですね。
bon apetit　　召し上がれ。ちょっとフランス語に挑戦＾＾。たまにアメリカ人の友人がこんな風にいろんな国の言葉をふざけて使います。が、間違っていたら教えてください。

Expiration date　賞味期限
extend best-before date　賞味期限を延ばす。 ここではわざと違う言葉を使いましたが、もちろん、extend expiration dateでもいいんです。

    That sounds interesting!! I like that package. And I also love cheesecake, especially no-bake cheesecake. I want to eat it with coffee. I heard Tiogluton in Sendai is famous for cheesecake. Here is the URL: http://www.muginoho.com/brand/tio/

    前はなんもない感じだったのに、いまじゃ丸ビルに新丸ビルにコレドに……あれこれ。
    フランス語は、わからないです＾＾；第二はスペイン語でした。

    Forma, which I introduced in this brog, located in Yaesu eki naka, also have some rare cheese cakes. I’ll also try some of those.

    Wow, I’ve never been to Izumo and Matsue. Why did you go there? For sightseeing?
    It sound really nice to take a night train.

    That’s right!! One of the intentions of this trip was do sightseeing. Iwami-ginzan, lake Shinji, Izumo grand shrine(taishya), Maji’s sounding sand(nakisuna), Matsue castle and so on. And I’ve never seen sea of Japan. And I wanted to take a hot springs , take the night train and buy some magatama. And another purpose was, I heard that all gods in Japan come to Izumo on November. The shrine has some festivals. And I heard the shrine brings good encounter with women/men.
    Well, what are you planning to do at Christmas?.

    FORMA is very close to my house!
    But I have never seen such a vacuum pack before,(always wood box and paper only).
    I think it is for a souvenir.

    Oh, you know FORMA! It was vaccum packed that’s why I thoght the taste might be not so good, however, it was really tasty!
