After dropping by Shimada Yosho, I was strolling around the Aoyama area.
I found a cat looking at me, so I just went to her to stroke her…suddenly! she jumped off the block and made the perfect landing! It was “The Decisive Moment” of the day..
(Henri Cartier-Bresson might say “How come?” and does not agree with me though…)

嶋田洋書(*1)に寄ったあと、青山をぶらぶら。
一匹の猫がじっと見ていたので、ちょっとなでようと近寄ると……、突然! ブロックから飛び降りて、完璧な着地! 今日の「決定的瞬間」でした。
(アンリ・カルティエ=ブレッソン(*2)には「どこがー!」と怒られそうだけど。)
(*1) 嶋田洋書は、古くから青山にある洋書専門店。画集、写真集、専門書が多く、ちょっとマニアックな品ぞろえが魅力。昔は青山骨董通りの入口にあったけれど、今は青山5丁目、プラダビルの裏あたり、リストランテ・ヒロのそばにあります。
