初物 first fruits
Now is the season of first fruits. This is the first corn of the season for me.
It’s very nice to have a sweet corn kernel, pop in your mouth, with salt while it’s still hot.
And…eating it with a big bite is the best way to enjoy it!

★I hate insects wiggling in vegetables and fruits, however, if it has insects, it means they are very healthy without using that much pesticide.Corns comes into its season in summer.
初物がでる季節。私には、これが今年初物のとうもろこしです。
甘くてプチッとハジケルものを熱ーいうちに塩をかけていただくのがおいしいのです。
そして、ガブッとかぶりつくのが一番！
★野菜や果物の中を這いずりまわる虫が大嫌い！ ですが、虫がいたら、あまり農薬が使われていなくて健康的ということに。とうもろこしは、これからの夏が旬！

「初物」という概念がアメリカ人には薄いということに。
こういった季節初めて、なんて風情ある楽しみ方は、
