本気（で言ってるん）だよ I mean it!・ 妊娠中expecting
I had lunch at the Australian food restaurant, Salt with editor Hiromi of NikkeiBP. She said that she is expecting! Wow, congratulations! We ordered, however, a very rare cooked lamb steak before she confessed. Gee, if you are expecting , you should not eat rare meat!!! I mean it!

最近、まわりで妊娠中の友人が多発！
適齢期というのはあるもので、
どうやら、私たちのお仕事の女性は、
ちょっと遅めにそれがやってくるようです。
まだお腹にいる子と、寝返りを打つようになった子が
いずれは同級生になると思うと、ちょっと不思議ながら、
辻ちゃんと、ジャガー横田がママとして一線に並ぶのもまたスゴイ。
「そうしたいと思ったときが適齢期」と常々思っているけれど、
適齢期の幅は、とても広いのですね。
そして男性のほうがもっと、今が結婚の時期とか、仕事の時期とか
自分自身で感じる適齢期がピシッとあるように思います。

confess 告白する。 Ｇｅｅ やだ困った。Oh my god みたいな感じですね。
I mean it! 頼むから、とか、 本気で言ってるんだよ、といった感じです。

I think lamb is rare in Japan. <– I mean “rare” as in hard to find, not rare cooked 🙂
It was so hard to find, that I didn’t eat lamb at all for three years whilst in Japan (except Hokkaido でも、向こうでちょっと違う味だと思う).

Lamb BBQ, Gingisukan, that is the one you peobably had in Hokkaido, is very popular now in Japan.
But this resutaurant serves OZ style dishes so the way eating lamb is more like you guys do, I guess.
The picture of lamb dish was slighty out of focus, then I used this picutre. I’m glad to hear that you like the picture!
