熱をはかる take a temperature
Wherever Youka goes, she is always vigorous, however, she seems very tired this time. I took her temperature and…she had a 39degree fever!!! Oh dear, I’m so sorry… This is the first time she got a fever on a trip. Usually I don’t give her any medicine to reduce her fever but this time… She had slept until late afternoon. When she woke up she was just fine. I felt like as if I heard the sound “Kero”. (The sound means “I’m fine. Nothing happened” in Japanese. ) She was more healthy than I expected.

優花は、どこに行っても元気印。でも、今回はとても疲れて見えます。熱を測ると……39度!!! あらら、かわいそう……旅先で熱を出すのは初めてです。いつもは熱ざましは飲ませないのだけれど、今回だけは別。ずっと夕方まで寝ていました。そして起きたときには、すっかり元気！まるで「ケロッ」と音がしたかのようでした。彼女は思った以上に、健康なようです。
