高騰する soar
The price of oil is soaring worldwide, a “crisis” that has dominated the past week’s newspaper’s front pages. I didn’t care that much about those reports before, but now they’re a matter of our life. Now anything can move prices. (Gee, one of my favorite cake used to be 1000yen, but now it’s 1200yen! This is a trivial matter though…) I hope that the government finally decides to lower gas prices. How do you think about it?
