―沿いを散歩する stroll along―
Strolling along the riverbank is my daily routine these days.
Sometimes I find something that makes me feel happy, such as a flower on the sidewalk.
You’ll find Horsetails and Dandelions in a short time.

川沿いを散歩するのが、最近の日課。
時に、花だったり、何かいいものを発見してうれいキブンになることもあります。
もうすぐ、つくしやたんぽぽなんかも見られるようになりそうですね。
★だんだん暖かくなってきたから、散歩にいい季節になりそう。

昨日、川沿いを散歩していたら、桜や若葉の間から
うぐいすの声が聞こえてきました。
たまに通る車の音にもかき消されずに、元気よく。
故郷の母の話では、
ウグイスも、最初はホーホケキョとは鳴けなくて、
ホーホなんて風に鳴いているうちに
少しずつ様になってくるのだとか。
ウグイスもやっぱり、毎日少しずつ学んで成長していくんですね。

There was a nice breeze.
I had enough time to catch the train,
so I strolled along the riverbank on the way to the station.
気持ちいい風が吹いていた。
電車まで十分な時間があったので、
駅まで川沿いの道をぶらぶら歩くことにした。

It’s good season for cherry blossom viewing. I “stroll along” the riverbank too. 🙂 Yes! I feel spring breeze.
Btw, what’s the difference between “riverbank” and ” “causeway”? Sometimes i don’t know which word I should look up in a dictionary….. 🙁

Yeah, it’s a very nice season for walking around!
Riverbank is 川沿い・川の近くの土手
causeway is 浅い海沿いや湿地とかの土手（ッていうかな？）というか、土をもった畦みたいなところかな？ I believe so…
I understand that sometimes it’s really difficult to tell the nuance of words＾＾.

鶯は鳴く練習をしますね。丁度今頃は、マスターした頃です。（笑）私も川沿いをランニンしていますが、鶯の声を聞くと、疲れが消えて脚が軽くなりますね。
